Old Fulton Street is DUMBO's main pedestrian axis. The street descends from the Brooklyn Bridge overpass to the waterfront at a grade that makes it feel separate from the surrounding city. DUMBO has a split personality between weekdays and weekends that the cameras show clearly. Weekday mornings and afternoons show the neighborhood's working population — the technology and media companies headquartered in the converted warehouse buildings produce a steady flow of workers on bike and foot — combined with the deliveries and service activity that supports them.
