The feeds show the directional flow , nearly all movement in this period is toward office buildings, with minimal counter-traffic.

On days of significant market movement, news crews sometimes set up near the Exchange's facade, and the camera feed shows the production equipment and reporters visible on the Broad Street exterior.
This is a subtle signal but a real one. The Financial District's street level is usually steady and predictable; departures from that baseline are visible on the feeds in real time.
