夏天： Maximum foliage. The park is at its most opaque from the outside. Traffic on Central Park West is lighter on weekends when the park drives are closed to cars, and the camera shows the shift in who's using the street — cyclists and pedestrians who've spread beyond the park boundaries.

The intersection where Broadway, Eighth Avenue, and Central Park South converge at the park's southwest corner is covered by three camera feeds. Columbus Circle is one of Manhattan's busiest intersections and one of its most recognizable. The circular monument at the center, the Time Warner Center towers at its northern edge, and the park entrance are all visible from these camera positions.

The park lighting inside is minimal — a few lamp posts along the main drives — and the camera view from outside shows the dark silhouette of trees against the lit skyline above. This is one of the quieter nighttime camera views in Manhattan despite being in the middle of one of the world's busiest cities.
