The BQE and the Belt Parkway
The BQE cameras track I-278 from Sunset Park up through the Heights and on toward Queens — including the notorious triple-cantilever stretch below Brooklyn Heights. When the BQE stalls, the parallel surface streets go with it, so this is the feed to check first.
The Belt Parkway cameras pick up the borough's southern rim, from the Verrazzano approach in Bay Ridge past Coney Island toward the JFK corridor — the run that decides how painful an airport trip will be.
