Staten Island is New York City's most suburban borough and its least covered by the city's camera network relative to its size, but the cameras that do exist there show a genuinely different version of New York from anything visible in the other four boroughs. Hylan Boulevard: The Island's Main Road
Hylan Boulevard is essential to understanding Staten Island by camera. As the island's primary north-south road along the eastern coast, it functions as the main commuter artery for the large residential population of southern and eastern Staten Island.
