The NYSE does not have visitors on its trading floor, and the exterior is photographed constantly by tourists. The camera feed captures this at human scale: the steady stream of people stopping to photograph the building's facade, the security presence, the delivery vehicles that supply the Financial District's office buildings.

The NYSE trading floor is not visible from any public street camera, but the energy of market hours is occasionally detectable in the street activity around it. On days of significant market movement, news crews sometimes set up near the Exchange's facade, and the camera feed shows the production equipment and reporters visible on the Broad Street exterior.
This is a subtle signal but a real one. The Financial District's street level is usually steady and predictable; departures from that baseline are visible on the feeds in real time.
